United States midfielder Weston McKennie looks set to have a future in Thiago Motta’s side this season. After being named in the squad for the opening football game of the season.

Motta has named a 19-man squad for the opening game of the 2024-25 Serie A season. Which will host Como at the Allianz Stadium on Monday night, with McKennie among the five midfield players UFABET 

McKennie was initially thought to have no future at the club under new manager Motta and was expected to look for a new club this summer. But the 25-year-old midfielder was given permission to train with the first-team squad. After private talks and the American was named in the squad for the first game of the season.

With this situation, there is a chance that Juventus will sign a new contract. As McKennie’s current contract is entering its final year. The Bianconeri are expected to plan to extend the contract until 2026.
